Royal Jordanian established itself as a national carrier in 1963, with three aircrafts and just four regional destinations. Currently, under the guidance of King Abdullah II, it has become an elite international airline. Its reputation was further uplifted in the eyes of the public when it became a full-time member of the oneworld alliance in 2007. Through this alliance, the airline serves both business and leisure travelers, connecting them to over 1,000 destinations in more than 150 countries across the world, through other carriers registered with the oneworld alliance.
