    Gulf Air came into being in 1950 and was initially called as Gulf Aviation Company. Currently, it is completely owned by the Kingdom of Bahrain, and has emerged as a major international airline in the world.  The company has been striving to offer its customers the best of aviation technology with state-of-the-art aircrafts, meanwhile providing the traditional Arabic hospitality.     The fleet

    Gulf Air boasts world-class Airbus 320 ER which has 14 seats that fall under the Falcon Gold Class. The fleet comprises of aircrafts such as the Airbus A330-200, A330-200, A321 ER, A320-200 and Airbus 320 ER.

    Headquartered in Bahrain, Gulf Air flies to many destinations in the world including London, Paris, Athens, Frankfurt, Moscow, Chicago, Seattle, Los Angeles and other destinations. It also operates to many Asian destinations including India, Bangkok, Manila, Lahore, Peshawar, Karachi, Baghdad, Amman and Baghdad. It covers the African continent with flights to Cairo, Khartoum and Addis Ababa.

    Gulf Air provides many attractive in-flight facilities including the free Sky Nanny services for passengers travelling with kids. This service allows the parents or guardians to sleep peacefully while their kids are well looked after by the nannies.     Online booking and baggage

    The passengers have the luxury to do online check-in from 24 hours to 90 minutes before the flight departs. The Gold Class passengers are allowed to check-in 40 kg of baggage, whereas baggage allowance for Economy class is 30kg.
