Etihad Airways

    Etihad Airways, which is headquartered in Abu Dhabi, began its operations in November 2003.  This airline had won the title “World’s Leading Airline” at the World Travel Awards for five consecutive years. The company also owns Etihad Holidays and Etihad Cargo. The IATA code for Etihad is EY.

    The fleet

    The airline connects to 96 destinations spanning the Middle East, Africa, Europe, Asia, Australia and the Americas. Etihad Airways fleet consist of 105 Airbus and Boeing aircraft, including the new generation crafts like Airbus’s A319-100, A320-200, A321-200, A330-200, A330-300, A340-500, A340-600 and A380, and Boeing’s B777-200LR, B777-300ER, B777-300ER and so on.

    Destinations

    Etihad Airways operates to Kenya, Morocco, Nigeria, Seychelles, South Africa and Uganda in the African continent. In the Asia-Pacific region it flies to Bangladesh, China, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, Kazakhstan, Malaysia, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan, Philippines, Singapore, South Korea, Sri Lanka, Thailand and Vietnam. Among the European countries, Etihad Airways flies to  Armenia, Belarus, Belgium, Cyprus, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, Russia, Serbia, Spain, Switzerland, Turkey and the UK. This airline covers Brazil, Canada and the US among the American continents.  The destinations to which it flies to in the Middle East are Qatar, Yemen, Egypt, Iran, Jordon, Kingdom of Bahrain, Kuwait, Lebanon and Saudi Arabia.
