City tour of Yerevan
Yerevan is the capital of Armenia, its largest city and the administrative, cultural, and industrial centre. Yerevan is often referred to as the city of contradictions where modernity is interweaving with antiquity. It is filled with a cosy atmosphere, there is no hustle and bustle and you will feel friendliness and hospitality. Garni - Geghard - Tsakhkadzor
After breakfast proceed for a trip to the village of Garni. Here the only surviving example of the Hellenistic architecture in the region is located – the temple of Garni. Visit the Geghard Monastery – the unique creation of Armenian architecture a part of which is carved in the rock. Geghard is a UNESCO Heritage Site in Armenia. Attend a master-class of Armenian national bread, lavash baking. Trip to Tsakhkadzor – the cozy resort town which is especially popular in winter due to the excellent conditions for skiing. Here you will have an excursion to Kecharis Monastery.

Sevan – Dilijan After breakfast drive to Lake Sevan. Here you will have to climb the high hill, where proudly stands the monastery of Sevanavank. It offers a breathtaking view of the lake and the surrounding beauties. The tour continues to the town of Dilijan, known for its healing and pine aromas. Here you will stroll around the historic part of the town. After dinner, you will visit Haghartsin Monastery (XI—XIII cent.) located among picturesque mountains covered with dense forest. The last tour destination is the medieval monastery complex Goshavank (XII—XIII century).

Echmiadzin - Zvartnots Temple The tour will begin with a trip to the town of Echmiadzin – the religious center of all Armenians. Here you will visit Echmiadzin Cathedral – one of the first Christian cathedrals in the world, built in 301 after the adoption of Christianity in Armenia. The cathedral is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You will also visit the temples of martyrs, Gayane and Hripsime. Not far from the town there are the ruins of Zvartnots temple – another UNESCO site in Armenia. Once the temple was such a magnificent creation, that the Byzantine emperor invited the chief builder to his land with a request to erect a similar creation. Late night check out from the hotel. Private transfer to EVN airport.
