The fleet of Cathay Pacific consists of more than 140 wide-body aircraft that are among the youngest in the world. When it was last checked in 2014, the average age of the fleet was 8.5 years. A plan to add another 85 fuel efficient, ultra-modern aircraft is in the pipeline. Their current fleet comprises of Airbus A330-300, Airbus A340-300, Boeing 777-300ER, Boeing 777-300, Boeing 777-200, Boeing 747-400, Boeing 747-8 Freighter, Boeing 747-400ERF, Boeing 747-400BCF and Boeing 747-400 Freighter.
Cathay Pacific flies to North and South America, Asia, Europe, Africa and Australia. It operates to more than 160 destinations in almost 35 countries. The destinations it flies to in Australia includes Brisbane, Melbourne, Perth and Sydney. It serves, among others, Changsha, Haikou and Beijing in China. In Europe, Cathay Pacific caters to travellers flying to Germany, Italy, Spain, Portugal, and France.
